China's Denials Are Involved In Helping Trump Win In The 2020 US Elections

JAKARTA - China said it had no intention of meddling in the 2020 United States (US) Election. The statement was in response to a statement from former US President Donald Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, who said that Trump asked Chinese President Xi Jinping's help to return. won the US Election.

Launching from Reuters, Thursday, June 18, the statement was conveyed directly by a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian. Bolton's remarks are made in an excerpt from his book published by the New York Times.

Former national security adviser John Bolton has leveled shocking accusations against his former boss, Trump. Bolton claims in his new book that President Trump personally asked his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to help him win back the 2020 US presidency.

Bolton also said that when Xi Jinping said that China was building concentration camps for the mass detention of Uyghur Muslims, Trump supported the effort. Trump said that China should continue to build camps, "which he thought was the right thing to do."

At another meeting during last year's G-20 summit in Osaka, Bolton said Trump was turning talks to the 2020 US elections. The former national security adviser also said Trump was "stressing the importance of farmers and increasing Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat through election results."

Bolton said talks were returning to a trade deal and Trump suggested the US would not impose tariffs on China, "but he again urged Xi Jinping to buy as much American agricultural produce as possible."

"He's a liar," Trump told the Wall Street Journal, adding that "everyone in the White House hates John Bolton."

Trump's interaction with Xi Jinping is just one of the descriptions in Bolton's book, 'In the Room Where it Happened: A White House Memoir'. Bolton also wrote that Trump is directly linking US security assistance to Ukraine for investigations into his opponents who are expected to run in the 2020 US elections - the main charge in the Democratic impeachment case - and accuses Trump of repeatedly lying.
