Anies Targets JIS Stadium To Be Inaugurated In December 2021, Gerindra Guarantees Not To Disrupt The COVID-19 Budget
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan targets the inauguration of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) stadium in North Jakarta by the end of this year.
In response to this, Deputy Chairperson of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Mohamad Taufik, considers that the JIS development will not interfere with the COVID-19 response budget in Jakarta because it uses National Economic Recovery (PEN) loan funds from the central government.
"The JIS budget comes from PEN, a national economic recovery loan, from the center," said Taufik at the KPK building, South Jakarta, Tuesday, August 10.
Taufik explained that some of the budget for the JIS development project last year was diverted to be included in the handling of COVID-19.
Therefore, the COVID-19 budget that is included in the DKI Jakarta unexpected expenditure (BTT) is considered sufficient and undisturbed when the PEN budget is used for development.
"The issue of COVID-19 has actually been allocated from the APBD amounting to IDR 5.2 trillion. So, I think God willing, that's enough. The problem is that when suddenly the increase comes, IDR 5.2 trillion is budgeted. So, when you want to fulfill it now, then refocussing from other budgets," explained Taufik.
For information, the target for the inauguration of the largest stadium in Indonesia is included in the Governor's Instruction Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Settlement of Regional Priority Issues for 2021-2022.
"The JIS stadium was inaugurated with a target time of December 2021," Anies wrote as quoted in Ingub.
In addition, Anies also targets a number of infrastructure developments related to the activation of the JIS area, namely the construction of new KAI stations on the west and east sides of the JIS in June 2022, the completion of route permits for the addition of the new KCI Jatinegara-Rajawali-Ancol-Priok route in October 2021, and the construction of new routes. granting toll ramp access to the JIS area in June 2022.
