North Sumatra Provincial Government Receives Oxygen Concentrator From The TNI Commander

MEDAN - The North Sumatra Provincial Government received the assistance of 100 oxygen concentrators from the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto. The aid was transported by a Hercules plane that landed at Soewondo Air Base, Medan.

The assistance was handed over by Kasdam 1 Bukit Barisan, Brigadier General Didied Pramudito, to the Expert Staff of the Governor of North Sumatra, Agus Tripriyono. With the oxygen concentrator, Kasdam hopes to help supply oxygen cylinders in North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of North Sumatra Health Office, Aris Yudhariansyah, who was also present, said that previously the oxygen concentrator had arrived and was received by the Medan City Government.

"We received concentrated oxygen from the TNI Commander, previously Medan City had received 100. This tool will be distributed to 32 regencies/cities in North Sumatra," explained Aris.

Until now, Aris confirmed that the availability of oxygen cylinders in North Sumatra is still safe. The oxygen concentrator, said Aris, was prepared to anticipate a surge.

"Availability of safe oxygen, hospital needs related to oxygen are still good, starting from the availability of oxygen and regulators are still available. This is to add if there is a spike, we need electric oxygen concentrate," he continued.

Aris explained that the distribution of oxygen concentrators will be prioritized to districts/cities with BOR conditions above 75 percent. However, he did not specify the regencies/cities with BOR occupancy rates above 75 percent.

"There are several regencies/cities, not all, not up to 10, there are several. We will report them in full later," said Aris.
