The Netflix Series Money Heist Will Be Adapted Into A Korean Drama

JAKARTA - After the popularity of The World of the Married, I feel the desire to adapt stories from other countries has grown. Most recently, there is Money Heist, a Netflix series that is ready to be 'translated' into Korean dramas.

On Thursday, June 18th, this news broke after a source from the industry told this. Reporting from the Daily Sports, BH Entertainment is pursuing the opportunity to remake the Spanish series.

The agency is currently working on content with a production house that wants to make a Korean version of Money Heist. Not to forget they also exchanged ideas with Netflix in terms of players.

Money Heist is a series that first aired on Netflix Spain in July 2017. Then, Netflix requested exclusive rights for even distribution globally. This made the original series entitled La Casa de Papel a Money Heist to make it known to the public.

Without a massive promotion, Netflix released Money Heist, apparently a positive response was received and initiated them to make a follow-up. The fourth season of Money Heist comes out this April. The fifth season has also been confirmed by Netflix.

Money Heist tells a group of robbers led by Professor (Alvaro Morte) where they use the face masks of Salvator Dali, a Spanish artist, in their action.

The popularity of Money Heist is also felt in the country of Ginseng because this series is always included in the Top 10 most watched.

In addition, BH Entertainment is an agency that houses famous actors Han Hyo Joo, Kim Go Eun, Kim Yong Ji, Park Hae Soo, Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Byung Hun, and many others.
