Ganjar Suggests Dasa Bakul To Be Implemented In The Market To Discipline Prokes

SEMARANG - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo suggested the concept of Dasa Bakul could be applied in markets as an effort to apply disciplined health protocols between traders.

"I suggested earlier that in our social system there is Dasa Wisma, ten houses control each other, help each other, and can understand each other, then in the market later there will be Dasa Bakul or dasa sellers. This means ten baskets reminding each other with a market model like this It will be easy," he said after checking the Healthy Market Command Post at Kaliwungu Market, Kendal Regency, quoted by Antara, Monday, August 9.

Ganjar explained that the concept of Dasa Bakul could be designed by arranging every 10 merchants who were close together and each had the task and responsibility of reminding each other regarding the discipline of health protocols, such as wearing masks properly and washing hands frequently.

"If (one of the merchants, ed.) the mask falls off, they are reminded, maybe they don't realize that they often pay with money, this is actually the media (spreading the virus, ed.), then they are reminded to wash their hands often. they can take care of each other, including keeping their distance from each other," he said.

Ganjar carried out a market check with Forkompinda Central Java and Kendal Regency to ensure that the health protocols at the market were organized and running well.

The Kaliwungu Market has implemented a strict standard operating procedure (SOP) for health protocols.

Body temperature checks and equipment such as wearing masks are carried out since traders and buyers enter the market.

In addition, officers at the market prepare masks if there are people who come without wearing masks, including routine vaccinations at the market.

"I asked that it is usually crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so on that day it is necessary to control, if there are students and officers here who become COVID-19 police then if something goes wrong, they are immediately reminded. This then becomes 'eling lan' ngelingke'. 'Eling' we use prokes, 'ngelingke' if then others don't use prokes well," said Ganjar.

Apart from the Kaliwungu Kendal Market, there are several markets in various regions in Central Java that have been piloted for healthy markets, including in Pati and Grobogan regencies which have also been piloted.

According to Ganjar, the trial of a healthy market in Pati Regency and even traders were arranged outside the market, as was the case with Salatiga City during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This week I will go around to see and control the practice in markets like Kendal. If everything can be controlled and controlled from the front, the people are disciplined, it will be good. At least wearing masks and also vaccinations given can help. If there are many markets doing like this would be better," he said.
