UNIQLO Indonesia Distributes 33,000 AIRism Masks For KAI Frontliner Employees

JAKARTA - PT Fast Retailing Indonesia (UNIQLO Indonesia) provided 33,000 AIRism masks for the KAI Group as protection for frontliner officers at stations and on trains.

Raden said that the distribution of masks has been carried out from July 12 to July 22, 2021. Meanwhile, VP Public Relations of KAI Joni Martinus said KAI is committed to protecting all employees and customers from exposure to COVID-19, especially for frontliner officers who have high mobility and often interact. directly with customers.

KAI frontliners include counter officers, customer service, boarding officers, conductors, technicians, Polsuska, cleaning service, and machinists. As the front line, all KAI frontliners always prioritize 3M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.

KAI frontliners are also a priority in the COVID-19 vaccination program for KAI employees. Currently, the number of KAI Group employees who have been vaccinated has reached 41,463 employees or 90 percent of the total employees.

"Vaccination for KAI frontliners is very important so that we can continue to provide the best service to customers," said Joni.

He said, since the COVID-19 pandemic, KAI has also consistently protected customers on trains, including by providing healthy kits containing KF94 masks, disinfectant wipes, and 12cm x 22cm packaging (zipper) for long-distance train customers.

In addition, KAI collaborates with relevant agencies to provide free COVID-19 vaccine services at various stations to customers and the public.
