"The number of people who have died from COVID-19 has increased by 20 in the last 24 hours. The residents of Aceh Besar Regency are at most seven people," said Aceh COVID-19 Spokesperson Saifullah Abdulgani in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara.
In addition to residents of Aceh Besar, he said, two people who died of corona infection were also detected in Lhokseumawe, Sabang, Banda Aceh and Aceh Singkil. Then it was spread in North Aceh, Gayo Lues, Aceh Tamiang, Bener Meriah and Langsa who were both one person.
In addition to dead patients, the Aceh COVID-19 Task Force also reported 137 patients who had recovered from the corona infection, including 34 people from Aceh Besar, 18 people from Banda Aceh, 17 people from Aceh Tamiang, 15 people from Langsa, and 11 people from North Aceh and Central Aceh. person.
"Then 10 recovered patients came from Pidie, six people from South Aceh, five people from Bireuen and Gayo Lues, four people from Southwest Aceh and one other resident of Bener Meriah," he said.
Meanwhile, the new positive cases of COVID-19, he continued, also increased by 152 people per day, namely 46 people from Aceh Besar, 43 people from Banda Aceh, 40 people from Subulussalam, five people from East Aceh and dozens of others spread across a number of regencies/cities.
Until now, the cumulative COVID-19 cases in the Tanah Rencong area have reached 25,364 people, of which 18,349 have recovered, 1,089 have died and 5,926 are still being treated or self-isolating. it added that COVID-19 cases in Aceh continued to fluctuate. However, we hope that new positive confirmed cases will continue to decline and the number of recovered patients will continue to increase every day.
