The Creation Of A La Liga 100 Clean Sheet Record On Behalf Of Jan Oblak

JAKARTA - Jan Oblak became the fastest goalkeeper who achieved a record 100 clean sheets. This was done after Atletico Madrid slaughtered Osasuna 5-0 in La Liga.

Osasuna received the 'death penalty' from Atletico Madrid on the evening of Wednesday, 17 June. In that match, Oblak made history by keeping his 100th clean sheet in just 182 league appearances.

The Slovenia international broke the record set by Miguel Reina (222 games).

Oblak has established himself as one of the world's best goalkeepers since joining Atletico from Benfica in 2014.

The 27-year-old has tasted the success of the Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and Supercopa de Espana with Atletico. Unfortunately, in the Champions League he only finished runner-up in the 2015-16 season.
