David Luiz Responsible For Arsenal's Defeat To Man City
JAKARTA - David Luiz is fully responsible for Arsenal's defeat from Manchester City. This also suggests that he should determine his future before the season starts again.
The Brazilian defender faces a series of nightmares when he sets foot at the Etihad Stadium, Wednesday, June 17 evening. The team he defends, Arsenal suffered a 0-3 defeat in the Premier League.

David Luiz was clearly at fault for Raheem Sterling's opener before being sent off after bringing down Riyad Mahrez early in the second half. Kevin De Bruyne then executed a penalty and Phil Foden sealed City's victory last night.
33-year-old defender Luiz, whose contract has expired, accepts the blame for Arsenal's defeat. This is the Gunners' first game after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19.
"It was not the team's fault, it was my fault, I made the decision to play," David Luiz told Sky Sports.
"I had to take other decisions in the last two months but I didn't do them. I think the team is doing well, especially after being with 10 players, the coach is amazing, all the players are doing extraordinary things, it's my fault."

With so much speculation surrounding his future, David Luiz said his previous decision regarding his contract may have helped his performance.
"A different decision, to try to decide my future, to try to decide as early as possible but I don't,"

He added: "I shouldn't use that as an alibi or an excuse, it's my fault and that's it."
In fact, Mikel Arteta wants to keep this Brazilian defender at Arsenal. But David Luiz says his wish is to extend his stay at Arsenal by more than one season. Regarding this, the two parties have not found a common ground.
"I want to be here - that's why I keep training hard, that's why I came here today, that's why I try to do everything," he said.
"I want to stay, the coach knows, the coach wants me to stay so we are waiting for that decision."
