The Office Of PUPR And Contracting Companies In Banjarnegara KPK Searched

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched two locations in Banjarnegara, Central Java.

The search was carried out to find evidence of alleged corruption and gratification related to chartering, procurement, procurement, or leasing at the Banjarnegara PUPR Office in 2017-2018.

"Today, the investigation team has scheduled searches at two locations in the Banjarnegara area, Central Java," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Monday, August 9.

The two locations that were searched were the office of the PUPR Office of the Banjarnegara Regional Government and the office of a private company, namely PT BR, on Jalan DI Panjaitan.

However, Ali has not detailed what evidence the investigators found at the two locations. This is because the search is still ongoing.

"Currently the activities (searches, ed) are ongoing and we will inform you about full developments," he said.

Previously, the KPK was investigating allegations of corruption and gratification cases at the Banjarnegara PUPR Service in 2017-2018. This rasuah practice is related to procurement, chartering, and rental activities.

Unfortunately, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) still has not explained who the parties are named as suspects in this case. Later, the announcement of the suspect and the chronology of the alleged corruption will be announced when the detention is carried out.
