PPNI DPD Ensures Nurses Who Injected Pluit Residents Use Empty Vaccines Are Not Members
JAKARTA - The North Jakarta Regional Executive Board (DPD) of the Indonesian Nurses Association (PPNI) supports the steps of the North Jakarta Metro Police in conducting an investigation of the empty vaccine injection that occurred at the East Pluit IPK School, Pluit, North Jakarta recently.
Seeing the video circulating, North Jakarta PPNI DPD Chairperson Maryanto assessed that the video had a lot of understanding. Therefore, he asked the police to solve the case.
"The video can have multiple interpretations. But in principle, we (DPD) PPNI North Jakarta are ready to cooperate with the North Jakarta Metro Police in investigating this case," said North Jakarta PPNI DPD Chair Maryanto when contacted, Monday 9 August.
Maryanto admitted that he was reluctant to make guesses. He considered the most appropriate investigation step in uncovering the truth of the viral video. However, Maryanto confirmed that the vaccinator in the video was not a member of the North Jakarta PPNI DPD.
"So in this case we need an investigation, in-depth and comprehensive development. We can't make guesses, including also examining the patient, the producer, and the spreader of the video. It could even be a laboratory test to confirm whether or not the vaccine has been injected into the patient's body," he said. .
As is known, news about the injection of empty vaccinations was uploaded by the Twitter account owner @irwan2yah. He said the incident occurred at the IPK Pluit Timur School on Friday, August 6, yesterday.
"At 12.30 the vaccination injection turned out to be empty. After protesting and just saying sorry, it was finally injected again," he wrote.
He asked the health workers who injected the blank vaccine to be processed further.
