Police Secure Men Suspected Of COVID-19 Who Wandered Culinary Tours In Medan
MEDAN - The police arrested a man suspected of being a positive COVID-19 patient with the initials S (54), who was desperate to roam and even go on culinary tours in the city of Medan, North Sumatra.
"It has been secured," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Medan Polrestabes Kompol Rafles Marpaung to reporters, quoted by Antara, Monday, August 9.
He explained that the person concerned is currently still in the process of intensive examination by the Medan Police Satreskrim investigators. "It's still being investigated," he said.
The action of the man with the initial S went viral on social media (medsos) some time ago. In the video circulating, the man admitted that he had undergone five PCR tests within a week.
After undergoing the PCR test, the man who was still tested positive for COVID-19 on the seventh day after undergoing the test immediately went on a culinary tour to several restaurants in Medan City.
The man and his partner went to two restaurants and ate the food at the restaurant.
