TABANAN - A foreign citizen (WNA) from Russia was reported to have lost his way on Mount Sang Hyang, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, Bali.

The Caucasian, whose identity is not yet known, made the ascent on Sunday, August 8 morning with two of his colleagues.

The journey begins through the Banjar Dinas Gunung Sari Uma Kayu, Jati Luwih Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. After climbing 1.5 kilometers, the other two were exhausted and decided to head back. At 14.00 WITA the two climbers arrived at Villa Padi, Gianyar Regency where they were staying.

The request for assistance was received by the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas Bali) this morning.

According to him, the condition of Mount Sang Hyang has the characteristics of dense vegetation, especially in the rainy season. So it is advisable not to do the climb alone or at least use a local guide and bring equipment and equipment for the climb.
