Jessie J Apologizes To Nicki Minaj, What's Up?

JAKARTA - Singer Jessie J apologized to rapper Nicki Minaj Saturday, August 7. This is related to the Bang Bang song they sing.

Initially, Jessie J told about the Bang Bang collaboration process to Glamor magazine on Friday, August 6. He claims Nicki heard the song in the studio and expressed a desire to sing it.

“We didn't go and ask him (for the collaboration); he wanted to do it,” said Jessie J.

Hearing this statement, Nicki Minaj wrote several tweets on Twitter. “I didn't hear the song and didn't ask to join. The label asked and paid for me."

“How can I hear the song? Peek at the song? This is also mentioned by other artists. You guys have to stop. I love you," said Nicki.

Jessie J then wrote an apology to Nicki Minaj via Instagram. This post consists of a row of memes uploaded by netizens on Twitter.

“If we can't laugh at the life we have what's the point. From the moment I met you until now I show you my love and gratitude for the incredible blessing I have received having you and Ariana Grande writing Bang Bang with the talented musician Max Martin,” said Jessie J.

"I'm sorry I heard the wrong story all this time. I was told you heard the song and wanted to join by someone who 'poisoned' me at the label. Thank you for clarifying I was wrong and doing it like a friend.”

Celebrating seven years of its release, Jessie J invited Nicki Minaj to make a second part of Bang Bang or do a remix of Do It Like a Dude.

Bang Bang, which was sung by Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj, was a success after its release. The song sat at the top of the music charts and earned a nomination at the Grammys.
