Central Jakarta City Government Together With Ormas Tracing Residents Who Have Not Participated In Vaccination
JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta City Government is intensively collecting data on residents, especially those with the Central Jakarta Population Identification Number (NIK) who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and those who have not.
"There are 80,000 residents of Central Jakarta that we are combing. We want to make sure they are all vaccinated," said Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma during an interview in the Johar Baru area, Sunday, August 8.
The community sweeps involve community components including, RT, RW, Community Early Awareness Forum (FKDM) and Village Community Institutions (LMK). The deployment is in order to reach community groups.
"We are intensifying this by the community component," he said.
Before getting the figure of 80 thousand, Dhany explained that the first data obtained was 88 thousand from the Central Jakarta Civil Registry Population Service (Dukcapil). However, after a joint analysis, the 8,000 residents are no longer in Central Jakarta or have died.
"There are only 4,000 who died, then there are those who have moved or been abroad," he explained.
