5 Members Of The North Sumatra Regional Legislative Council Arrested In Clubbing With 7 Women, The Police Find Ecstasy Remains In The Room

SUMUT - The police have detained five people suspected of being members of the North Labuhan Batu DPRD (Labura) during an operation to enforce restrictions on community activities (PPKM) at a nightclub in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).

Asahan Police Narcotics Head AKP Nasri Ginting said the identities of the five members of the Labura DPRD who were secured were JS, MAB, KAP, GK, and PG, respectively.

He said that the five members of the Labura DPRD were caught along with seven women while they were clubbing.

"We have detained 17 people. Five members of the Labura DPRD were also arrested while they were clubbing with seven women at night," he said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, August 8.

During the raid, he said, police officers also found remnants of ecstasy from inside the room.

Until now, the five members of the DPRD and dozens of other people who were arrested during the raid are still in the process of being investigated. "We are still investigating thoroughly," he said.
