TNI Task Force Provides Aid For Jayawijaya Residents Who Are Having Difficulty Living Because They Don't Eat

JAKARTA - TNI personnel from the Security Task Force for Vulnerable Areas (Satgas Pamrahwan) Yonif RK 751/VJS Pos Kurulu provided assistance to residents of Mumi Village, Jayawijaya Regency who had difficulty living because they had not eaten for several days due to the lack of food in their homes.

The Commander of the Post (Danpos) Kurulu Pamrahwan Task Force Yonif RK 751/VJS First Lieutenant Inf. Edi Sujianto said that Pratu Chandra who was on guard duty at the post had been visited by a Mama Papusla named Yashua (70).

After arriving at the guard post, he continued, then Pratu Candra welcomed Mama Yashua's arrival in a friendly manner by inviting him to sit down and inquiring about the purpose of his arrival.

"Mama Yashua said that she came on foot from Honainya which is located in Mumi Village, about 1.5 km from the Kurulu Post. Then she told me that her husband, Lani Mabel had been sick for 1 week and had not eaten for several days because their food ingredients had run out, "explained Lt. Inf. Then Mama Yashua told me that she couldn't go to the garden to look for food because she had to wait for her husband who was sick. Edi Sujianto said that after hearing the explanation, Pratu Candra immediately reported to Danpos for instructions.

"Hearing this, I immediately ordered other members to get a plate of rice which is the menu for TNI soldiers to give to Mama Yashua," he said.

The TNI Task Force then prepared eight personnel to see the condition and condition of Lani Mabel, Mama Yashua's husband, in Honainya.

"It turns out that Mama Yashua and Mr. Lani Abel live alone, because their child lives in the Kobagma District, Central Mamberamo Regency. Then I ordered the health personnel who came to check on the condition of Mr. Lani Abel, whose condition was unable to walk due to age factors," explained Danpos.

He admitted that after being examined and given medicine according to the complaints felt by Lani Abel, the TNI Task Force provided assistance in the form of rice and instant noodles for the two of them to consume.

Meanwhile, Dansatgas Pamrahwan Infantry Battalion RK 751/VJS Lieutenant Colonel Inf Dedy Dwi Cahyadi in his statement said, as a commander, he greatly appreciated the activities carried out by Pos Kurulu members in helping the difficulties of residents in their environment.
