DKI Disburses KLJ, KPDJ, And KAJ For Quarter 2 Today

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government disbursed funds for the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ), and Jakarta Child Card (KAJ) for the second quarter of April, May and June today.

In the KLJ program, the elderly receive cash assistance of Rp. 600 thousand per month. Then in the KPDJ and KAJ programs, people with disabilities and children get Rp. 300 thousand per month. Today's aid is disbursed three months at a time.

"The total funds disbursed for KLJ recipients amounted to IDR 1,800,000 for the second quarter of 2021. Meanwhile, KPDJ and KAJ recipients each received IDR 900,000 in the second quarter of funds per person," said Head of DKI Social Service Premi Lasari in her statement. , Friday, August 6th.

Premi explained, the target of receiving KLJ this year is 78,169 elderly people with a budget of more than Rp562 billion. Then, the target for KPDJ recipients is 11,422 persons with disabilities with a budget of more than Rp41 billion. Also, the target for KAJ recipients is 9,531 with a budget of more than Rp. 34 billion.

KLJ, KPDJ, and KAJ are data from the validation and verification of the Social Security Data and Information Center of the DKI Social Service. Then, it is determined in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), after going through the village deliberation process (muskel) in each region.

“The KLJ, KPDJ, and KAJ programs are aimed at meeting basic needs for the elderly, people with disabilities and children in meeting basic daily needs. This program is expected to help improve the quality of life for the elderly, people with disabilities and children so that they can live properly,” he explained.
