Google Has A 'Tangi' Application To Compete With Pinterest
JAKARTA - Google is again innovating, after being launched last January specifically for iOS users, now the company's short video application, Tangi, has arrived for Android users.
Citing Phone Arena, Tuesday, June 16, Tangi itself comes from a combination of the words "TeAch and Give" and "Tangible". Carrying a concept like Pinterest, Tangi is the result of an experimental product from Area 120 which is an incubation project owned by Google.
This Tangi short video application focuses on Pinterest-like concepts, namely creative and lifestyle content such as arts crafts, cooking, lifestyle, fashion and others.
However, what distinguishes Tangi from Pinterest is that Tangi has a short one-minute video feature. This feature can make it easier for users to make video tutorials such as cooking, painting and making useful tips and tricks.
Not only that, Tangi also provides user experience to be able to open posts so that they can add comments and see full descriptions of uploaded video posters.
As for Pinterest, users can only share a photo that has been edited or pure. Another interesting feature of Tangi is 'Try It' where users can try and post the results of the video tutorials they watched.
Want to try a new experience? You can download it on Playstore and App Store right now for free.
