New Trailer For Train To Busan: Peninsula Is Much More Gripping
JAKARTA - Train to Busan: Peninsula releases its newest trailer today, Tuesday, June 16. Following up on the first poster and trailer that was launched last April, this time Peninsula presents a much more detailed story of the zombies.
Jung Seok (Kang Dong Won) is sent on a mission to save a truck in an abandoned area. There is money promised to Jung Seok if he passes the mission. However, he met a group of zombies who controlled the area.
There, he met Minjung (Lee Jung Hyun). The two of them help each other to survive the zombie attacks that are starting to surround the wasted area.
Gripping and full of mystery, these two things can describe the latest Peninsula trailer. Shooting and fighting between survivors and zombies is certainly awaited.
Director Yeon Sang Ho said, Peninsula is not a sequel to Train to Busan, but only a connection from the first story, thus concluding that the two occur in one time. The story this time is set four years after the Train to Busan incident.
Not yet officially released, Peninsula was selected to compete in the 2020 Cannes Film Festival. Unfortunately, this festival canceled its series of agenda due to the COVID-19 event and has not revealed what alternatives they will take in the future.
Apart from Kang Dong Won and Lee Jung Hyun, Peninsula stars Kwon Haehyo, Kim Min Jae, Koo Yoo Hwan, Lee Ye Won, and many more.
Obviously, the audience's expectations are very high for this film so that it can follow the success of its previous films. Train to Busan aired at the Cannes Film Festival and reached a total of 10 million viewers during the broadcast period. If there are no obstacles, Peninsula will be released this year.
