Being A Suspect, Candy Dinar Threatened 10 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - The police finally named Dinar Candy as a suspect in the alleged pornography case. The determination of the suspect is based on the examination of witnesses and the results of the case title.

"We have named sister DC as a suspect in the alleged crime of pornography," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Azis Andriansyah to reporters, Thursday, August 5.

Despite being named a suspect, investigators decided not to detain Dinar Candy. This is because investigators consider various things, one of which is a cooperative attitude.

"While no arrests were made. Yes, you must report it," he said.

Meanwhile, the motive behind Dinar Candy's bikini action is yet to be confirmed. What is clear is that his actions have violated the norms that are upheld by the Indonesian people.

"It is clear that whatever is being done in Indonesia, there are norms, ethics, cultural norms that apply in our society. The action in question does not heed cultural norms," said Azis.

So, for his actions, Dinar Candy is suspected of being under Article 36 of Law No. 44 of 2008. Dinar is also threatened with imprisonment for 10 years and a fine of IDR 5 billion.

Dinar Candy was desperate to only wear a bikini to reject the government's decision to extend the period of the Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

Dinar Candy holds a sign that reads "I am stressed because PPKM has been extended." Dinar also said that his act of wearing a bikini was a form of disappointment. He also asked the public not to imitate his actions in bikinis.
