Prisoners In West Java Control Marijuana Circulation In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police is conducting developments on five previously arrested drug dealer suspects, MY and NS.

These two drug dealers often conduct transactions in the Central Cikarang area, Bekasi. The police then carried out an investigation by tracing the location.

At the same time, investigators noticed the signs of someone using a motorcycle.

"Then they were searched, there were nine packages, each with a net weight of one kilogram. So a total of nine kilograms," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus Yusri, Wednesday, August 4.

The officers then checked their respective homes which were not far from the location of the arrests.

"At the residence in question there are 15 plastic wrappers, so a total of 24 kilograms of marijuana from the two suspects. We are still developing this because usually this marijuana crosses islands," said Yusri.

Conical to the Central Jakarta area. Still in the same circle, officers managed to catch DS. This drug dealer was arrested while making a transaction in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Jalan Ikhwan Ridwan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

During the arrest of DS, the police secured 13.9 kilograms of evidence which was controlled by an inmate from a prison in West Java.

"He was ordered by someone who is a prisoner in a West Java prison, so the team developed it and went there to examine the prisoner," said Yusri in a drug case at the Polda Metro Jaya.
