Hong Kong Disneyland Is Back In Days

JAKARTA - The Hong Kong Disneyland theme park is planned to reopen on June 18 after the COVID-19 outbreak forced it to close at the end of January. With notes, health protocols are still applied. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong authorities still have not fully opened the restrictions on preventing COVID-19 there.

Quoting Worldometers, since mid-April until now the average number of COVID-19 cases per day has not reached more than ten people. In a few days there were no additional cases.

The total cases of the new coronavirus in Hong Kong reached 1,110 people and four deaths. Because the number of cases is classified as small, the plan to open public places will come into effect.

In addition to opening the garage, citing Channel News Asia, Disneyland will also start opening some shopping places and restaurants. They returned to operations with a limited number of visitors. Physical distance restrictions are mandatory for queues and other facilities. In addition, hotel services will also be continued gradually.

In order to enter Disneyland, visitors must register in advance and they must have a medical certificate. Spraying of disinfectants will also be carried out as often as possible, then hand sanitizers will be provided for visitors who have their temperature checked first and use masks of course.

Disneyland Hong Kong is a joint venture between Walt Disney Co and the government. It is known that the government owns 53 percent of the shares while the rest belongs to the owner of the concept.

Meanwhile, Disneyland in Shanghai opened last May. A similar theme park, Ocean Park, also returned on Saturday.

Amid the many lifting of these restrictions, Hong Kong's borders are almost completely closed. The rules for group meeting restrictions are still limited to eight people.
