Task Force: Positive Cases Of COVID-19 In Bantul Increase By 624 People
BANTUL - Positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region increased by 624 people. The total number of cases exposed to the corona virus until Tuesday was 44,091 people.
Quoted by Antara, Tuesday, August 3, the Daily Head of the Bantul COVID-19 Task Force Joko Purnomo said the additional new cases came from Kasihan District, 104 people, Bantul 82 people, Banguntapan 76 people.
Then Sewon 66 people, Pajangan 48 people, and Jetis 41 people, and Sanden 40 people.
Then from Sedayu 30 people, then Imogiri 29 people, followed by Pandak 27 people, Kretek 21 people, and from Srandakan 18 people, Dlingo 15 people, Pleret 14 people, Bambanglipuro 10 people, the rest from Piyungan two people, and Pundong one person.
However, in the same period there were 370 patients who were declared recovered from COVID-19, bringing the cumulative total recovery rate in Bantul to 29,056 people.
While the confirmed cases of COVID-19 who died today were 27 people, bringing the total death cases in Bantul to 1,048 people.
With the development of these daily cases, the data on active cases of COVID-19 or patients from Bantul who are still undergoing quarantine or isolation in shelters or hospitals as of Tuesday, August 3, totaled 13,987 people.
Joko Purnomo said, related to the risk zoning of the Bantul COVID-19 case with the calculation of the weight of the public health indicators, and calculations based on case data from July 20 to August 2, it was concluded that Bantul Regency was in the high risk zone or the Red zone.
"Bantul Regency is still in the high risk zone or red zone. The results of this calculation can be used as a basis for all parties to carry out various activities or activities for the next 14 days from August 3 to 16, 2021," said Joko who also said the Deputy Regent of Bantul.
