Why Raffi Ahmad Says Jusuf Hamka As The Real Sultan Andara? Here's The Explanation
JAKARTA - Not long ago, celebrity Raffi Ahmad uploaded a photo with a Chinese businessman, Jusuf Hamka. In the photo caption, Raffi revealed that it was Jusuf Hamka who deserved to be called the Sultan of Andara.
As is known, Raffi Ahmad is referred to by his fans as the Sultan of Andara. This is allegedly because Raffi is classified as a wealthy celebrity, and happens to live in one of the luxury housing estates in the Andara area, South Jakarta.
However, Raffi said that he did not deserve to be called the Sultan of Andara. The reason is, Jusuf Hamka is considered far more "right" to hold this status if you look at the existing facts.
"Together with The Real Sultan Andara, who built the Andara Toll Road. Sincerely Geraaaakkkkkkkk To Om @jusufhamka and Bro @feisalhamka. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and inspirational stories," wrote Raffi, quoted on Tuesday, August 3.
For information, Jusuf Hamka is a senior businessman who is known as "the owner of toll roads in Jakarta". He is currently the President Director of PT Citra Waspphutowa, a subsidiary of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk, the contractor that built the Depok - Antasari (Desari) Toll Road. The toll road crosses Raffi Ahmad's residence, so it's not surprising that Nagota Slavina's husband said Jusuf Hamka was The Real Sultan Andara.
The Desari Toll Road Section II (Brigif-Sawangan) has been opened to the public, on Friday, July 3, 2020. The Desari Section II Toll Road is designed for 6.3 kilometers with four gates namely Krukut Gate 1 (toll exit), Krukut Gate 4 (toll entry), Sawangan Gate 1 (toll exit) and Sawangan 4 Gate (toll entry). The Desari Section II toll road ends on the national road, namely Jalan Raya Sawangan, West Java.
The Desari Toll Road Section II is a continuation of the Desari Toll Road Section I Antasari-Brigif which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on September 27, 2018. With a total length of 21.60 kilometers, this freeway is divided into 3 sections.
Section I Antasari-Brigif is 5.80 kilometers long, Section II Brigif-Sawangan is 6.30 kilometers, and Section III Sawangan-Bojong Gede is 9.50 kilometers which is targeted to operate in January 2021.
With the operation of the section that connects the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) with JORR II, it can solve the problem of traffic congestion that connects the City of Jakarta with surrounding cities, such as Depok and Bogor.
The construction of the Desari Toll Road is carried out by PT Citra Waspphutowa, a subsidiary of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) with a majority share of 62.50 percent, PT Waskita Toll Road with 25 percent and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk 12.50 percent.
The Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) was signed on May 29, 2006 and amended on June 7, 2011 with a concession period of 40 years from the issuance of the Construction Start Order (SPMK).
Among the management of PT Citra Waspphutowa, there is Fitria Yusuf as the President Commissioner. He also serves as President Director of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. Fitria Yusuf is the daughter of Jusuf Hamka.
In the decade of the 90s, Jusuf Hamka served as Commissioner of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. Then in 2012, his position shifted to President Director.
Currently, apart from placing Fitria Yusuf in the position of President Director of CMNP, Jusuf Hamka also places his two children namely Feisal Hamka as President Commissioner and Farid Hamka as Commissioner.

The establishment of CMNP opens a new era of public-private partnership in toll road concessions, through its role in building the 19.03 km Cawang - Tanjung Priok (North South Link/NSL) toll road.
The successful implementation of the pilot project has made the government trust CMNP to build the Tanjung Priok - Tiga Bridge / Pluit (Harbour Road / HBR) toll road with a length of 13.93 km.
