Because Of The Input In The Pcare And Smile Applications, Ganjar Pranowo Says The Vaccination Data In Grobogan Is Messed Up
Central Java - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said the data on COVID-19 vaccine recipients in Grobogan Regency was chaotic. This confusion led to discrepancies in vaccination data between the central and local governments.
Ganjar discovered this problem when he checked the vaccination implementation in Wolo Village, Grobogan Regency, Tuesday, August 3. Ganjar found the cause of the difference in vaccination data, namely for every vaccination event, all data was inputted directly through the Pcare application, then the data was inputted through the Smile application.
From this, it was discovered that there was a data discrepancy between the central and regional governments. The central government sees that there are still a lot of vaccine stocks in the regions because data entry into the Smile application is not perfect.
"I just want to straighten things out, because yesterday when I conveyed it to the center, almost all districts protested. You see, we've injected a lot, and it's run out, how come the data seems as if we still have stock. This is Bu Regent of Grobogan also complaining, so immediately I checked," said Ganjar.
It turns out, he continued, that there are two systems that need to be corrected, namely Pcare or an application that is used to store data after people are vaccinated, where the data is immediately entered for everyone who comes to be vaccinated.
"This (Pcare application) is actually the most real data. While the center used for reference data from the Smile application, it turns out that it takes a long time to fill in the Smile application, starts to be injected, is recapitulated in the Pcare application, only to be reported. Smile, then read it and it is considered that there is still a lot of stock," he said.
To overcome this, Ganjar suggested that there be data integration and asked the central government to also look at the vaccination process in the Pcare application.
"Because it is more real time, we will evaluate it with the health office and we will propose it. Incidentally, the Minister of Health called earlier, so we will announce it at the same time," said Ganjar.
