BTS Bang Bang Con Online Concert Successfully Held

JAKARTA - Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) held an online concert titled Bang Bang Con on Sunday, June 14. This is a special BTS offering to their fans, ARMY.

The response that BTS has received has been huge and positive. A total of 756,600 thousand people from 107 countries streamed by paying for tickets for the concert. For 100 minutes, the audience can choose six different angles to enjoy the concert as they wish.

BTS performed various songs from their latest album, Map of the Soul: 7 such as Black Swan and Boy With Luv. They also sang old release songs.

Not to forget, BTS shared what they had prepared regarding this online concert. As part of their debut celebration, Jin revealed that if they had not renewed their contract with the agency two years ago, the contract could have expired a day before the 7th anniversary since debut.

"I hope we can hold a concert later. I want to see ARMY with my eyes," said V during Bang Bang Con.

BTS is known to have to postpone the Map of the Soul world tour due to the COVID-19 event which has been taking place since early 2020. Big Hit as the agency has not decided on a new schedule but they hope the Army can understand this situation.

On the other hand, BTS will release a new album in Japan entitled Map of the Soul: The Journey on July 15. This album contains Korean song tracks which are converted into Japanese lyrics.
