Ganjar Pranowo Finds Deviations In BST Distribution In Grobogan

GROBOGAN - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo found irregularities in the distribution of cash social assistance (BST) when checking in Panunggalan Village, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency.

In that village, Ganjar found that the distribution of BST was not right on target, namely that the beneficiaries were employees of gas stations and village officials.

Initially, Ganjar "chatted" with a number of residents who received assistance at the village hall while at the same time extracting information about who the recipients of BST were.

"Mas 'you drink coffee'? Take help? What are your day-to-day work," Ganjar asked one of the BST recipients, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, August 3.

A BST recipient then answered that he worked at a gas station and every month received a salary according to the UMK.

At that time, it turned out that there was one village official who was also registered as a BST recipient, but the person concerned stated that he would not take it.

"I got it, sir, I don't know how I got it, but I won't take it. For other residents who need it," said the village official and Ganjar gave two thumbs up.

According to the Head of Panunggalan Village, Moch Pujiyanto, there are six residents who have received double assistance from the government, including a resident who is still getting paid, including village officials who can.

"That's data from the Ministry of Social Affairs, we don't know whether it was a data error, a typo or an 'update' error, but the device was not taken. We will fix it later, including the residents who were still working at the gas station," he said.

In response to this, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, had expected to find such cases because during a meeting with the village head at the Village Meeting, this had been conveyed.

"It's certain, that's why I came directly to check to find out his condition. Yesterday the village head had a lot of input, Mr. Ganjar, how come the data is not the same. I said be patient, 'ojo nesu', we will clarify," he said.

Ganjar has sent a letter to the Ministry of Social Affairs regarding this matter and asked Social Minister Tri Rismaharini to send data on BST recipients in Central Java.

"Later, the village head and my friends will check. Earlier, the village head said it was good, there is a device that can be used, there are gas station employees who are still getting paid. I think he is honest, and this is not true," he said.

Ganjar emphasized that he was ready to help the government to clean up duplicate data related to BST recipients.

"There is double data, we will clean it later. We in the regions are ready to clean up so that a situation like this does not happen. This is what often creates social jealousy in the community," he said.
