Google Shows Off The Pixel 6 Series, Equipped With A Tensor Chip And Three Sophisticated Cameras

YOGYAKARTA - Thanks to the leakers, Google mobile fans know the company's plans to introduce its newest product. Unmitigated, the technology giant Google will launch two products at once this year.

And after being a mystery for several weeks, Google finally confirmed the presence of two new products. In addition, the company also shared initial leaks about the design, product name, estimated release time, and much more.

Named Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, these two latest Google phones are supported by a number of updates. One of them is to rely on the company's own chipset, namely Google Tensor.

The information was shared directly by Google CEO Sundar Pichai via his personal Twitter account. In the tweet, Sundar also revealed that the Google Tonser chipset is a System on Chipset (SoC) that was developed for four years.

"So excited to share our latest cipset Google Tensor, developed over 4 years (?? A long time)! Tensor builds on our two decades of computing experience and it's our biggest innovation for Pixel to date. Coming to Pixel 6+ Pixel 6 Pro in the fall," Sundar wrote on Twitter.

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro Leaked Specifications

Unfortunately Google is reluctant to mention in more detail the specifications of the two devices. Just an overview of some of the embedded core features.

For example, when the company talks about the design of the Pixel 6 series, the company calls it 'industrial design'. As for the Pro series, it will have a 'lighter aluminum frame' and for the non-Pro it will be coated with 'matte aluminum'.

Different from its predecessors, the Pixel 6 series is covered in a rectangular camera module that fills the upper part of the back of the device. At first glance, it looks like a module belonging to the Poco M3. But thinner and looks elegant.

For the first time, the Pixel HP will support three rear cameras. It consists of a wide-angle main camera, an ultra-wide secondary camera, and a telephoto camera.

FYI, this new phone's telephoto camera offers 4x optical zoom capability. A smaller number than the leak from the Google Camera app.

Only Sold in 8 Countries Only

This time, Google fans in Indonesia will find it increasingly difficult to buy the Pixel 6 series. Based on the findings of XDA-Developers, advertisements for these two devices are only available on Google's official website in eight countries.

The eight countries include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Yes, India and Indonesia as two big markets for smartphones are missing from the list.

It should be noted, however, that these are the findings of XDA-Developers. That is, not official information from the company. So, there is still hope that the company will launch the Pixel 6 series to more countries. Perhaps, Indonesia will be included later.
