Many Print Vaccine Certificates, Are There Any Rules?
JAKARTA - Many people have started printing their COVID-19 vaccination certificates since the implementation of PPKM Level 4 and Level 3.
Because, in the current rules of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, vaccination certificates are used as a condition for long-distance travel. The DKI Provincial Government also applies vaccination rules as a condition for activities.
Vaccination certificates are printed in various forms, from sheets of paper to printed like electronic ID cards.
Then, are there regulations governing the printing of vaccine certificates? Spokesperson for vaccination from the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi said the government did not regulate the printing.
"There are no rules for printing vaccination certificates," said Nadia in a short message to VOI, Tuesday, August 3.
Nadia explained that the government had distributed vaccination certificates digitally. Evidence that they have been vaccinated, both the first dose and the second dose, are sent via SMS to every citizen's cell phone after receiving the vaccine injection.
In addition, the Ministry of Health also provides a place to download vaccination certificates through the PeduliLindungi application. Then, register or log in to an account using the appropriate cellphone number at the time of vaccination registration.
Then, select the "vaccine certificate" menu and the first and second vaccine certificate options will appear if you have received a complete vaccination dose. Then, click the vaccine certificate view and click the "download certificate" menu to download the certificate in image format.
Nadia said that people who will use vaccination certificates can still show evidence through images that have been downloaded on their respective electronic devices.
"Now it's easier to use electronic means," said Nadia.
