PPKM Level 4 Extended, KRL Passengers Still Must Bring STRP
JAKARTA - The government has decided to extend PPKM Level 4 until August 9th. PT KAI Commuter requires Jabodetabek KRL passengers to bring a worker registration certificate (STRP) as a condition for entering the station for the next week.
Apart from the STRP, other documents that can be used are a letter of assignment from the head of the company where he works, or a statement from the RT-RW for urgent needs.
"Travel documents such as STRP and other certificates are still a requirement for users in essential and critical sectors to be able to take the KRL," said VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter Anne Purba in a statement, Tuesday, August 3.
In addition, Anne said that KAI Commuter also carried out COVID-19 vaccinations at the station. It is recorded that more than 3,000 people have participated in the vaccination program held at five stations, namely Duri, Angke, Jakarta Kota, Rangkasbitung and Cikarang stations.
"Specifically, vaccination at Cikarang Station which started today has been able to vaccinate 370 KRL users and the community around the station. KAI Commuter continues to open cooperation with the local Health Office to carry out vaccinations at the station in order to achieve communal immunity," he said.
Previously, the government ensured the extension of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) until August 9. This assurance was conveyed directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"The government has decided to continue implementing PPKM Level 4 from August 3 to 9, 2021 in certain regencies/cities by adjusting activity and mobility arrangements according to the conditions of each region," said Jokowi.
Jokowi said the decision to extend this restriction was made even though improvements have been made for some time.
There were also a number of improvements, including in terms of daily case confirmation, active case case rate, cure rate, and bed occupancy rate in hospitals.
"PPKM Level 4 which was implemented from July 26 to August 2 has brought improvements on a national scale compared to before," said Jokowi.
