JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Muhammad Tito Karnavian issued three instructions to regional heads regarding the extension of PPKM Level 4 in Java, Bali and other regions.

Quoted by Antara, Monday, August 2, most of the restrictions, especially for areas that are at level 3 and level 4, have not changed much. Non-essential activities are still required to take place virtually, while essential activities are allowed to operate up to 50 percent of normal capacity.
Then, activities in critical sectors are allowed to take place directly / face to face 100 percent, but by implementing strict health protocols.
However, for regions that are included in level 2, there is an increase in capacity in the essential sector to 75 percent.
For the government service sector at level 3 and level 4 areas it may only operate at 25 percent of normal capacity, but at level 2 regions, the sector may operate up to 50 percent.
Inmendagri No. 27 of 2021 stipulates areas in the Java and Bali islands that are included in level 4, level 3, and level 2.
Regions that are included in the list of level 3 and level 4 regions include DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. In Yogyakarta and Bali, all regencies are included in the level 4 region.
Meanwhile, Inmendagri No.28 of 2021 stipulates areas that are included in level 4 in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Papua.
