Reported By Bang Ijeck, Bobby Nasution Will Return Residents Living On The Deli River Bridge To Aceh

MEDAN - The City Government (Pemko) of Medan, North Sumatra will repatriate residents who live under the Deli River bridge, Captain Maulana Lubis area to their original place in Bireuen Regency, Aceh.

"We plan to return this tomorrow to the area," said Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution while visiting the residents at the Medan Social Service Shelter, quoted by Antara, Monday, August 2.

The existence of the resident from Bireuen who lives under the Deli River bridge was first noticed by the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Musa Rajekshah (Ijeck) some time ago.

At that time the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra was traveling to meet the community to distribute social assistance (bansos) on the banks of the Deli River. The findings are then informed to the Pemko Medan.

"Yesterday I was contacted by the Deputy Governor after he visited the field directly. Indeed, there are people who live in the city of Medan but live under the bridge. We immediately checked the location," said Bobby Nasution.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Medan City Social Service, Endar Lubis, said that his party had coordinated with the Bireuen Social Service regarding the repatriation.

"They have tracked down the residents and their location has been found in Matang Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen. They are ready to help," he said.
