The Reason Why Akidi Tio's Son Is Being Investigated, South Sumatra Police: We'll Wait Until Noon But There's No Information About The Rp2 Trillion Question
JAKARTA - The South Sumatra Police said that one of the reasons for the examination of Akidi Tio's child, Heryanti, was to seek information about the truth of the existence of Rp. 2 trillion in money. Because, there are many allegations that the money never existed.
"We are currently processing this, we are calling the person concerned to come to the Regional Police to confirm whether or not the Rp2 trillion money will be handed over," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Kombes Supriadi, to reporters on Monday, August 2.
The growing suspicion was that on the day the money was handed over, Heryanti, who went to the bank to withdraw the funds, did not provide any information.
According to Heryanti's previous statement, the money should have been disbursed and given away.
"So after the person concerned will go to Bank Mandiri, we will wait until 2 pm but there is no information. We will invite the person concerned to the South Sumatra Police," he said.
In addition to the suspicion that Heryanti did not have that much money, other rumors said that the source of the money came from an account in Singapore to the loan proceeds.
However, Supriadi emphasized that until now there has been no information about this. Because Haryanti is still under investigation.
"There is no (information), there is no such information," said Supriadi.
