Through Kasur Man, Petra Sihombing And Pamungkas Reveal The Importance Of Being Lazy
JAKARTA - Man Kasur is Petra Sihombing's fifth work launched this year. This song features the talented musician Pamungkas.
"I met Pam from the start. I really like her energy. Maybe I don't think there is a similarity in the work, but I like the songs she released. I had a story about (the album) since the Internet, and she sent me a voice note from Manusia Kasur. I felt it was right on my album, "said Petra.
Manusia Kasur are the most lazy songs on the album since the Internet. This is the link between the song and the big theme of Petra's album which will be released in the near future.
"I think laziness is also a part of life. It's very important," said Petra.
This song also has a correlation with the quarantine during the early days of COVID-19. Petra says sleep is one of the best choices when at home and the productivity of every individual is not a competition.
"A month at the beginning of the pandemic, I played games 9 hours a day for a month non-stop. It felt like a vacation I needed. I was so happy. After that I made music again it felt so refreshing. Being a Mattress Man for a while is really okay, it should be. "
For additional information, Petra Joshua Sihombing was born April 10, 1992. This singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer released a song called Mine in 2013 which managed to penetrate 3 million viewers on YouTube.
After 2 years of resting from the hustle and bustle of the music world, Petra released another mini album (EP) titled Verdict Victim. He found new sounds and a songwriting style on this album.

Now Petra is in the process of producing his newest album which will be released this year. All songs that will be present on Petra's latest album will be released regularly every month on the 23rd.
"I want to be more consistent, and the resolution in 2020 for the next 10 months I will release songs every month, every 23rd. Wait, OK!" concluded Petra.
