The Police Arrested 4 Times Student, Sports Teacher And Koran Recitation Teacher In Deli Serdang

MEDAN - A sports teacher in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra with the initials AS was arrested by the police. He was arrested for allegedly molesting his student at school.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Deli Serdang Police, Kompol M Firdaus, said that this incident was revealed after the victim informed that her brother had been molested by the perpetrator.

Receiving information from his sister, the victim's brother immediately reported the incident to the Deli Serdang Police. The report was recorded with the number LP / B / 311 / VIII / 2021 / SPKT Deli Serdang Police / North Sumatra Police.

"On Sunday, August 1, the complainant received information that the victim (the reporting brother) had been molested by the perpetrator," said Firdaus when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 2.

The victim explained the obscene act was carried out by the perpetrator 4 times.

"This act was carried out by the perpetrators in the school area. The suspect was a sports teacher as well as a Koran teacher after teaching and learning activities at the school," he explained.

Firdaus said that after receiving the report, his party immediately went down and arrested the perpetrator at his house. For his actions, the perpetrator, said Firdaus, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

"The crime of decency or obscene acts against children as referred to in Article 81 paragraph (2) and or 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76 E of Law No. 17/2016 concerning the stipulation of Perpu No. 01/2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23/ 2002 concerning Child Protection," said Firdaus.
