Led Zeppelin's New Documentary Film Production Process Completed
JAKARTA - The production process for the Led Zeppelin band's latest documentary has been completed.
Titled Becoming Led Zeppelin, the film was directed by Bernard MacMahon and was first announced in May 2019 to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary.
Today, Monday, August 2, MacMahon provides an update on the finished Led Zeppelin documentary.
“Becoming Led Zeppelin is a film you never thought you would make. The band's meteoric rise to stardom was swift and undocumented," he said, citing NME.
Through various processes including research and restoration of visuals and sound, this film can run.
Becoming Led Zeppelin is a special film. After all, this is Led Zeppelin's first film for a documentary in 50 years. In addition, they also gave MacMahon all access for the sake of the film.
This documentary features recent interviews with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham who died in 1980.
Neither MacMahon nor Led Zeppelin have announced a release date for this documentary.
