Prime Inaugurates 36 Officials At The Solo City Government, Mas Gibran: Don't Be Slow And Long-winded, It's A Matter Of The Lives Of The People Of Solo!

SOLO - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka inaugurated 36 new officials within the Solo City Government. This inauguration was carried out for the first time by Gibran since he officially became the number one person in the city of Solo.

In his inauguration speech, Gibran emphasized fast, efficient work for new officials.

"Congratulations, brothers and sisters who have just been inaugurated, hopefully it can be carried out well and with full responsibility. I want to remind you that the position you hold must be accountable not only to me, the deputy mayor, but to the residents of Surakarta," explained Gibran in Jakarta. As a public servant, the task that a new official has developed is not an easy one. Especially with the pandemic that is not over yet. However, Gibran asked them to work professionally and make the pandemic condition a challenge to work professionally. Most importantly, every task performed must be fast.

"The bureaucracy should not be slow, slow, long-winded and seem less alert because this concerns the lives and safety of our citizens," said Gibran.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) added that the newly inaugurated positions are strategic positions that are useful in handling COVID-19.

In addition to working quickly and efficiently, Gibran advised to use social media as a means to communicate with residents. "You have to be active on social media and the field. Both must be balanced," said Gibran.
