Involvement Of TNI Personnel In Narcotics Circulation

JAKARTA - Drug snare seems unstoppable. Repeated actions were carried out, but it did not have much effect on the circulation of these illicit goods. Not only civilians who fall, the authorities have also become victims of the violence of narcotics.

It's no secret that several police officers are involved in trafficking narcotics. But this time, two members of the TNI were caught entering the black hole of drugs. So, they have to deal with criminal law.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the arrest of the two TNI personnel was the development of Pomdam Jaya (Kodam Military Police) for drug cases involving other TNI personnel.

Thus, the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Detective Directorate was also involved to reveal and assist in the arrest of the people involved. Then, five people were arrested in a unit of the Legata Tower London Apartment, North Jakarta, Tuesday, December 10.

"The Regional Police Headquarters which was backed up by drugs from the Polda Metro Jaya found five perpetrators, two of whom were TNI personnel, the other three were civilians," said Yusri when confirmed, VOI.

Even though he had arrested the two TNI officers, Yusri was reluctant to reveal the identities of the two soldiers. The reason was that the settlement of the case had been submitted to the Pomdam. Thus, it is said that his party does not have the authority to explain.

However, for the three civilians who were also arrested, the case process was handled directly by the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Detective Directorate. Currently, MHW, RO, and LH are still undergoing intensive examinations.

Even though he was economical in talking about the identities of two TNI personnel, Yusri said, during the raid process, one of the soldiers dared to jump from the balcony of the 3rd floor apartment unit.

However, based on the data and information gathered, he is Kopda H. As a result of his reckless action, Kopda H suffered a broken arm and rib and now has to be treated at RSPAD, Central Jakarta.
