Anambas Regent Kepri Abdul Haris Exposed To COVID-19, Referred To Batam Hospital This Morning
KEPRI - Regent of Anambas Regency, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) Abdul Haris was confirmed positive for COVID-19 even though he had been injected with the vaccine twice.
Anambas District Secretary Sahtiar when confirmed confirmed the news. Currently, Regent Abdul Haris has been referred to a hospital in Batam City.
"Previously, he was treated at the Tarempa Regional Hospital, but this morning he was referred to Batam using a fast boat," said Sahtiar.
However, Sahtiar has not been able to detail how the chronology of the number one person on Anambas Island could be exposed to COVID-19.
According to him, Abdul Haris tested positive for COVID-19 along with 27 other patients, Sunday, August 1, 2021.
"So, last night there were 28 new cases added. Including Mr. Regent Abdul Haris," he said.
Based on the Anambas District COVID-19 Task Force, so far the total confirmed cases in Indonesia's outer islands are 1,494 cases, with details of 217 active cases, 1,245 people recovered, 32 people died, 175 people isolated at home, integrated isolation 30 people, and isolation in the hospital UPT 13 people.
