The total donation collected for the mother of the sugar cane seller named Gita Apriyanti is Rp155,125,500. Donations channeled through Mat Peci, whose real name is Hilman Firmansyah, were used to buy a house for Gita Apriyanti.

“The total donation collected was Rp155,125,500. The house that was purchased is located at Perum Rancamanyar Kotabaru Cikampek, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen," said Mat Peci via Instagram matpeciiii, Sunday, August 1.

Confirmed by VOI, Mat Peci said that the granting of a house certificate for ice cane seller Gita Apriyanti was carried out on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

“The fundraising is transferred to a personal account. The house will be given on Saturday, July 31, 2021," said Mat Peci to VOI.

The house giving initiative came from Mat Peci. After the video of him bidding on a plastic ice cane for Rp500 thousand went viral on social media, many netizens asked questions.

“After that, I just looked for the figure of Gita's mother, looking for her address. After finding the address, it was seen from the condition of the house that it was inadequate. Because the house was not occupied by the original owner, then Gita's mother and her family occupied it,” continued Mat Peci.
