Sentill About The Sinking Jakarta And The New Capital City, PDIP Politicians Ask Joe Biden Not To Interfere With Indonesia's Internal Affairs
JAKARTA - PDIP politician Junimart Girsang is furious with United States President Joe Biden, who is seen as interfering in Indonesia's internal affairs. Biden said that the capital city of Indonesia, DKI Jakarta would sink in 10 years.
"Mr Biden is better and smarter in managing the country he leads," Junimart told reporters, Saturday, July 30. government partners have never heard from the Minister of Home Affairs and others about the projection of 'Jakarta sinking'," said Junimart. Junimart admitted that he had also coordinated with the chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD who is also a PDIP cadre, Prasetio Edi Marsudi.
"I have conveyed and emphasized it directly to Pak Pratikno, the Minister of State Secretary, in the RDP at Commission II a few months ago and to the chairman of the DKI DPRD in the party forum," he explained.
Junimart then questioned the data until Biden dared to talk about the projection of Jakarta sinking. This is because there has never been a statement from the authorities regarding this matter.
"What is the basis for him making a statement that Jakarta will sink? Meanwhile, we, the nation's children in Jakarta, have never felt or even had thoughts like that. What are Mr Biden's benchmarks," said Junimart.
According to Junimart, the affairs of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia are the affairs of the Indonesian government. Moreover, the relocation of the Indonesian capital has been discussed in the Draft Law on the State Capital (IKN) which is included in the 2021 Priority National Legislation Program (Prolegnas).
"What happened behind his statement. Regarding the relocation of the capital city as the center of government, it was clear, it was knocked down and stated in the law," he said.
