Ahead Of PON And Rumors Of The Name Of The Deputy Governor Of Papua, Lukas Enembe Asks The Mass Media To Be Balanced
PAPUA - Papua Governor Lukas Enembe hopes that the mass media will continue to prioritize balance in news writing.
This was stated by Spokesman for the Governor of Papua Muhammad Rifai Darus in response to the dynamics and internal conditions on Earth of Cenderawasih which are volatile so quickly.
"So it is hoped that the media can check and re-check so that the news is balanced," he said as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 30.
According to Rifai Darus, news also has one thing in common, although it cannot intervene in reporting. "Especially related to the current conditions in Papua," he said.
He explained that Governor Lukas Enembe is also very concerned about accelerating the election of the Deputy Governor of Papua whose position is still vacant.
"From a series of processes, only two names will be proposed to the Papuan DPR with further legislative processes," he said.
He added that his party still hopes for support from the mass media so that the situation and conditions in Papua remain conducive in the future, especially ahead of the implementation of PON XX and Peparnas XIV.
