Alert, Nine Out Of 10 Sub-districts In Morut District Are The Red Zones For COVID-19
JAKARTA - Nine out of 10 sub-districts in North Morowali Regency (Morut) Central Sulawesi Province (Sulteng) are included in the red zone or zone with a high risk of transmission and spread of COVID-19.
Morut Regent Delis Julkarson Hehi explained that the nine sub-districts include Mori Atas District with 47 people exposed to COVID-19 and currently undergoing self-isolation or at health service centers belonging to the local government.
"In Lembo District there are 192 people exposed to COVID-19, as many as 24 people in Lembo Raya District, 115 people in East Petasia District, 104 people in Petasia District, 40 people in West Petasia District, 26 people in Soyojaya District, 36 people in West Petasia District. Bungku Raya and 41 people in Mamosalato sub-district," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 30.
Meanwhile, North Mori District is included in the yellow zone or zone with moderate risk of transmission and spread of COVID-19. In North Mori District, 13 people were found to be exposed to COVID-19.
"The steps taken by the Morut Regency Government to suppress the surge in COVID-19 cases, among others, are, firstly, strictly enforce health protocols at the village level according to the policy, namely the Enforcement of Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) by activating the tough village village post," he said.
Second, intensify socialization of the application of health protocols through village governments, religious leaders and the community. Third, the blocking of travelers within the boundaries of Morut Regency with predetermined travel conditions. Fourth, provide self-isolation places in all villages. Fifth, provide logistical needs for COVID-19 patients who are undergoing independent isolation and are affected through village funds.
Sixth, providing a place to care for emergency COVID-19 patients in each sub-district. Seventh, create a 24-hour call center or information center for people affected by COVID-19.
In addition, Delis added that the Morut Regency Government also submitted a request for assistance for COVID-19 logistics needs to the Central Sulawesi Provincial Health Office including 3,000 units of antigen rapid test kits, 1,500 pieces of hazmat clothes, 500 boxes of surgical masks, 1,500 vitamins, 100 boxes of favipiravir, oselramivir. 75 mg 100 boxes and remdesivir 100 mg 250 boxes.
Other requests are for the COVID-19 vaccine, which is targeted for 8,275 doses of Phase 2 vaccination and 10,000 doses of Phase 1 vaccination.
