Passed Health And Personality Selection, These Are 24 Names Of Candidates For Supreme Court Justices
JAKARTA - As many as 24 names of candidates for Supreme Court justices have passed the third stage of selection which includes health and personality tests. This selection was held by the Indonesian Judicial Commission (KY) to fulfill the request of the Supreme Court (MA).
"Based on the decision of the KY's plenary meeting on July 29, 2021, KY has announced the names of the candidates for Supreme Court justices who have passed the medical and personality tests," said Chief Justice of the 2021 Supreme Court Candidate Recruitment KY Siti Nurdjanah in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, July 30.
For the Criminal Chamber, there were 15 participants who passed stage three, namely Achmad Setyo Pudjoharsoyo, Adly, Artha Theresia Silalahi, Aviantara, Catur Irianto, Dwiarso Budia Santiarto, Eddy Parulian Siregar, Hermansyah, Hery Supriyono, Jupriyadi, Prim Haryadi, Subiharta, Suharto, Suradi , and John Priyana.
Furthermore, for the Civil Chamber there were six participants who passed, namely Berlian Napitupulu, Ennid Hasanuddin, Fauzan, Haswandi, Mochammad Hatta, and Raden Murjiyanto.
There are three candidates for Supreme Court justices who have qualified for the Military Chamber, namely Brigadier General Slamet Sarwo Edy who currently serves as Head of the High Military Court II-Jakarta.
Second, Brigadier General Tama Ulinta Boru Tarigan served as Deputy Head of the Main Military Court and Brigadier General Tiarsenbuaton as Head of the Ditkumad Military Law College. Head of KY Prof. Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata said that the interview selection for names that passed the third stage of selection was from 3 to 7 August 2021.
After the interview test is completed, KY will send the results as soon as possible and propose to the DPR to conduct a fit and proper test.
In general, the selection of the 2021 Supreme Court Justices by the KY is held on the basis of the Supreme Court's application letter to fill the vacancies of the 13 Supreme Court justices.
As many as 13 Supreme Court justices will fill different positions, namely two Supreme Court justices in the Civil Chamber, eight for the Criminal Chamber, one for the Military Chamber, and two for the Special Tax Administration Chamber.
