Jerinx SID Examined At The Badung Police By 4 Metro Police Investigators

BADUNG - The Head of Public Relations of the Badung Police, Bali, Iptu Ketut Gede Oka Bawa confirmed that the drummer for the Superman is Dead band I Gede Aryastina alias Jerinx in Bali was being investigated by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

Jerinx was questioned by four investigators on July 28 at the Badung Police Headquarters, Bali. Jerinx's investigation was carried out after being reported on suspicion of threats of violence by social activist Adam Deni, who went up to the investigation stage.

"Yes, it's true on the 28th at the Badung Police. Approximately 4 people from the Metro Police," said Iptu Oka Bawa when contacted, Friday, July 30.

He said that Jerinx's examination at that time started from 10.00 WITA to 16.00 WITA. In addition, Jerinx was also seen accompanied by his family.

"We only provided a place at the Badung Police. At that time (there were) the family, I saw it," he added.

Iptu Oka also refused to elaborate on Jerinx's status after undergoing the examination. According to him, the authority to answer that lies with the Polda Metro Jaya.

"We don't know about the investigation, we just provide a place. We don't know where the authority is taken, we don't know. Further, please coordinate with the Metro Police," said Oka.

Investigators from Polda Metro Jaya have raised the status of the case that ensnared Jerinx from investigation to investigation level.

The determination of the legal status after investigators conducted a case finding found elements such as those reported by Adam Deni to Jerinx.

Adam Deni reported Jerinx with Article 335 of the Criminal Code and or Article 29 in conjunction with Article 45b of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.

Adam Deni also showed evidence of his report letter to the police on his Instagram account, @adngrk.

This case began when Adam Deni asked Jerinx to provide evidence of a list of Indonesian artists who received endorsements to claim to be positive for COVID-19.

Some time after that, Adam Deni admitted that he was contacted by Jerinx, then he was cursed and insulted and accused of being the mastermind behind the Instagram account @jrxsid which suddenly disappeared.
