English League Drama, Former Ghanaian Footballer Claims Rashford His Child
JAKARTA - Former Ghana international Michael Boye Marquaye claims that he is the biological father of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The 65-year-old explained that he had a special relationship with Marcus' mother, Melania, 22 years ago.
"Marcus Rashford is my son and he knows it even though we haven't seen each other for several years," Marquaye told Starr FM. Launching MARCA, Friday, June 12.
"Marcus was angry because he thought I was leaving him, but that's not the case," he continued.
England international Rashford was born in 1997 in Wythenshawe and is considered the son of Yusuf and Melania Rashford.
Meanwhile, Marquaye explained that he did not want to get any financial gain after this statement.
"I'm not the kind of person who's looking for easy ways to earn money or become famous,"

Meanwhile, Rashford has recently succeeded in helping charity FareShare achieve its goal of supplying three million meals to needy people in the UK by the end of June.
The 22-year-old is involved in an online gaming tournament for charity and has ordered tickets for United's games for workers at the UK's National Health Service.
But arguably his most significant work is with the charity FareShare. With Rashford's help, they are now ready to provide food to vulnerable people of Queen Elizabeth's Country.
