The Progress Of Makassar New Port Is 77 Percent
JAKARTA - Pelindo IV President Director Prasetyasi said that until July 18, 2021, the physical progress of one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN), Makassar New Port (MNP) had reached 77.54 percent.
"MNP Phase IA has been put into operation. Currently the ongoing construction is Phase IB and IC construction," said Prasetyadi in Makassar, quoted from Antara, Friday, July 30.
The ongoing activities are bore pile and secant pile, production and installation of precast concrete, casting of in-situ concrete, then rehandling and dredging of the rotary pool.
Previously, the physical realization of the total investment of the parent and subsidiary companies had reached 72.47 percent with a budget absorption of IDR 254.16 billion in the second quarter of 2021.
According to Prasetyadi, the biggest physical progress is investment activities carried out in the Biak and Ternate branches, which until the second quarter of this year have reached 100 percent.
The work carried out is the construction of a stacking yard and the installation of port facilities.
While the physical progress of work at the Jayapura Branch has reached 82.1 percent, the Fakfak Branch is 77.9 percent, the Technical Directorate is 75.1 percent and the Sorong Branch is 71.7 percent.
In contrast to the physical condition of the Bitung Container Terminal Branch, which recorded 38.2 percent, the Makassar Container Terminal Branch with 47.7 percent physical progress, the Tarakan Branch with 12.7 percent and the Pantoloan Branch with 5.0 percent physical progress.
In this regard, Prasetyadi is optimistic that until the end of 2021 all physical work will be completed according to the set target.
