Central Java - Police are still investigating the cause of the fire in five buffalo cages in Gerdu Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency, Central Java. In this incident five buffaloes were roasted to death.

He said the number of buffalo belonging to several breeders who died as a result of the incident was five.

The location of the cage is far from residential areas because the location is indeed central for buffalo farming.

Meanwhile, the head of the Work Livestock Group, Tulada Nur Rohmat, estimated that the fire occurred on Thursday morning at around 02.45 WIB.

As a result of the fire, five buffalo pens belonging to the Karya Tulada cattle group in Gerdu Village were burned and resulted in five buffaloes being roasted to death.

Local residents have tried to extinguish the fire. Because the flames have grown so difficult to extinguish.

The fire was successfully extinguished after two fire engines were dispatched to the location so that it did not spread to dozens of other cages.

He admitted that he did not know the cause of the fire. However, it is suspected that it was due to an electric short circuit that hit the buffalo feed straw. The losses are estimated at hundreds of millions of rupiah.
