In The Near Future, Lampung Hajj Dormitory Will Become A COVID-19 Emergency Hospital
JAKARTA - The Rajabasa Hajj Dormitory Complex in Bandarlampung, Lampung Province will be used as a COVID-19 Emergency Hospital to anticipate a surge in new cases in the area.
"We (the Ministry of SOEs) will assist 200 hospital beds or bed occupancy rate (BOR) which will be placed in the Lampung Hajj Dormitory as an anticipation location for isolation rooms in Lampung," said PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC President Director, Fathema Djan Rachmat in Bandarlampung. , reported by Antara, Thursday, July 29.
He said the emergency hospital was planned to be ready in the next 10 days.
"The 200 beds consist of ICU and HCU rooms for moderate, severe and critical COVID-19 sufferers, including those who will treat mild cases," he said.

"Hopefully the efforts made by the Governor together with the Ministry of SOEs will increase Lampung's resilience to COVID-19 control," he said. Meanwhile, Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana, said he welcomed the emergency hospital at the Lampung Hajj Dormitory, which will be built by the Ministry of SOEs.

His party has also prepared a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Lampung Provincial Government and the Ministry of SOEs.
